RULE 31.3: The use of light elastic (shock cord) not adjustable while racing to remove the slack in the jib stay and between the shrouds and the mast is permitted.

RULES OF CONDUCT: course shortening after at least 2 windward legs are completed is allowed.

The complete wording & list of rule changes was printed in the latest edition of the Snipe Bulletin and is posted online on the Snipe website.

SCIRA Rulebooks are at the printer and should be mailed within the next few weeks.   All the current contents of the Rulebook are already posted on the Snipe Website.

In addition, attached is a Circular letter that will be posted on the Snipe website and printed in the next Snipe Bulletin.  Please distribute to the measurers in your country.

Please let me or Rules Chairman Giorgio Brezich know if you have any questions with regard to these rule changes.

We hope you will distribute this information to your members in your country.
